KITCHEN WINDOW RESTORATION
This kitchen is in West Washington Park and the house dates back to 1906. The kitchen was in original condition with a pantry, original windows and all original cabinetry, plumbing, and electricity. This particular kitchen represents how functional re-utiliztion can be accomplished while still maintaining a significant sense of the original style. The windows were stripped of all paint and restored back to original condition, including the matching of the existing stain and varnish finish to the other parts of the house, the pantry wall and window were removed, cabinets, plumbing, and electricity were up-dated, resulting in a beautiful kitchen that meets all standards for today.

The top photo reflects a window that has had all of it's parts removed for wood restoration (paint removal and repair). The bottom photo shows the completed restoration of the double hung window to its original condition. In this 1906 Washington Park West home, Denver, Colorado, while the kitchen was updated to meet current functional needs for the homeowner, the windows were maintained in their original style, thereby giving the updated kitchen the feel from the original architectural style and motif.
